Team Culture

 
Relationships matter here. We want our team members to know one another, support one another and care about the experience we’re creating together. That means sharing knowledge, showing up for the team and treating each other with the same thoughtfulness we give our guests.
 
There’s plenty of experience in the room, but no reason for that to make the salon feel intimidating. We’re genuine, welcoming and always learning from each other. Individual growth matters, but so does being part of something that works well together.

Growth has always been part of Salon Aria + Spa. Our team has access to customized training based on individual needs, ongoing coaching and advanced education offered in the salon. There are also opportunities to attend hair shows, conferences and advanced education outside the salon.
 
Our 22-year partnership with Aveda keeps us connected to an even larger world of education, including experiences such as Aveda Congress. We also participate in Serious Business, bringing new ideas and perspectives back to the salon. The point isn’t to chase every new thing. It’s to know your craft, stay current and keep getting better at what you do.

Connection + Community

 
Giving back is a natural extension of what we believe. Salon Aria + Spa supports our local Audubon chapter and joins Aveda’s Earth Month efforts benefiting charity: water. We’re also proud to serve as the official Skin & Spa Sponsor for Miss Iowa and Miss Teen Iowa for the second consecutive year.
